This is Iron Moutain High School. I have been dedicated to this school for fourteen years. Being a class of only 67 kids. The class of 2017 is not were it all started though. I started my schooling at a biulding in the town over called the Willis Center. This was for kids who would be preped and ready for school at either Woodland (Kingsford) or one of Iron Mountains four schools (Central, East, North, or our Catholic school DACS/Bishop Baraga). Being in a class of kids who would transfer to Kingsfords Woodland was a wierd choice. There is where I made my first ever friends Michelle, Mikhal, Mariah, Tori, Ryan and many others. Here I learned what it ment to be a team player and proper. Ending up transfering to Iron Mountain Central was a change because I was in a class with all new people. This strated my fourteen amazing years at Iron Mountain. Still being friends with Ryan for a time being. Here is where I met Mrs. Hall one of the sweetest most thoughtful women in the world. I made a new friend Chase and had a fun year. First grade was one of the best years of my life having Mrs. Martin (the person who made me addicted to cheetos). Second grade was one of my ruff years because I ended up getting poked and loosing vision in my eye for a while. With a stricked teach (Mrs. Tobin) I was able to accomplish my schools work. My first year of third grade however was the worst year of my life. Mrs. Johnson was not the reason however. Once again I lost vision, but this time in the opposite eye. This time was different I was struck by a man and he had taking my vision in my other eye. Being held back was hard, but gave me a new chapter to start. This is where I met my best friend for life Marissa. We just recently spent our 10 year friend aversery last July 4th and hopefully have many more. Instead of 2016 I was 2017. Third grade went very well for the second time. Fourth grade was amazing I got to perform my seventh or eighth ever play and got to meet and bond with all these new people including Mrs. Swartout. Randi, Kiera, Megan, Taylor, and Emmaly are just a few to name. I also made friends with a new student Jovanna (who previously went to IM East). Fifth grade was crazy. Mrs. Cooper was the most entertaining teacher. She loved chocolate and was extremely passionate about her work. This is were I met my friend in the future Joshua. Sixth grade at Iron Mountain is different for a lot of schools. You spend time in a home room and had two other teachers. With the new schedule comes that of the new kids. Iron Mountain for sixth and up was at Central. East and North went from Pre-K to fifth. Mrs. Springer my home room, Mrs. Solda (math), and Mrs. Cevigney (english/reading). This was the first year our sixth was considered elementary. Michelle also returned into my life.Over these elementary years I had many other teachers: Mrs. Stanchina (art), Mr. Powell/Wonder and Mrs. Ducat (Physical Education), Mrs. Debartolo (computers), and the most amazing people I have ever met and helped set my path in music Mr. Williams and Mrs. Curtis.

Next was middle school. Eight different classes and a whole new rotation of a schedule. This year we were given many new classes. The teachers I had were Mr. Herman (history), Mrs. Laydon (English/Reading), Mr. Johnson (math), Mr. Wonders (Health), Mrs. Ducat (gym) and Mr. Watrovich (science). This year was spent with many new friends including Meg G. and Brooke. Eight we had a lot of the same teacher with a lot of the same subjects. Mr. Bluecamp (history) and Mr. Herman (english) being the only new teachers for me. High school however was the best years of my life. I do not want to go over the thousands of people to thank, but just the influential ones who made high school amazing. Over the four years at IMHS I made a few new friends Marissa S. and Brooke H. are the main two. Freshman year was the most changing year of my schooling carrer. I was wipped into shape and had many great memories. Sophmore year was the easiest year. Junior was fun and Senior year went by so fast. Overall, I would like to say I had amazing teachers such as Mrs. Hiatt (art and english), Mrs. Yake (all math), Mrs. Carey; Mr. Boddy; and Mr. Christensen( for my sciences). In high school however I went to two schools. IMHS and our local Technical Education Center. Her I met Mrs. Courchaine the most influential person in my schooling. She mad taught me all about the health career field. In the two years of having her I had taken her Medical Terminology, Medical Core, and Nurse Aide class. Those were my schooling years and everyone to thank for the great memories.
